Who We Are
1997 was a turning point in the horse industry. The world was ready for a new style of horsemanship called "natural" lead by a handful of accomplished cowboys still recognized in the horse industry today. The jump from brutally breaking horses to gentle colt starting captivated the world of horses, including the founder of Reach Out to Horses®, Anna Twinney. Anna's career began with the legendary horseman, Monty Roberts, where she became elite in her field by managing his world-class equine center while discovering her passion for wild horses. She made it her life's mission to study their silent language and in so doing, she moved beyond dominance based Natural Horsemanship styles, discovering a deeper connection - communication and collaboration through self awareness, body language, herd behavior, energetic connections and the secret language of animals - telepathy. She continued to pioneer the Natural Horsemanship movement, creating the next generation of horse whisperer, and Reach Out to Horses was born.

Vincent is the backbone of Reach Out to Horses. In addition to his creative contribution as a writer, editor and assistant in the development of media and programs, he is critical to the technical, managerial and marketing of the Reach Out to Horses programs.
Vin’s mission is to invite and guide people to the possibilities and potential of living a true life of spirit; getting to the core of what they truly wish to create and be in the world.
He's also a magnificent singer with a wicked sense of humor!
Crawford Hall
Crawford was Anna’s mentor in the world of Natural Horsemanship and the biggest influence in her formative training years at the Monty Roberts International Learning Center. As Dean of Students he was paramount in the training of instructors, including Anna. She and Crawford ultimately became a team, conducting the signature thirty minute demonstrations of non-violence together. Anna became Crawford’s legs. She worked in the round pen while he described her work to the audience. And in that way he would teach her and she would perfect her skills.
Excalibur "X"
Excalibur, a Spanish Mustang from the open range of the Spanish Mustang Registry in Wyoming, has partnered with Anna as a life coach and teacher. Every visitor or student who comes to Whispering Feather Farm has the honor to meet X. Sporting three swirls, he has deep wisdom and an old soul. His connection to Anna spans lifetimes. He tests her every chance he gets to keep her honest and true to her calling.
