Reach Out to Horses (ROTH) Holistic Horsemanship gives a voice to the horse in ways that have never been explored before. Traditional Natural Horsemanship teaches that the language of the horse is only body language and uses the very nature of the horse against them, creating relationships that are still dominance based.  Reach Out to Horses founder Anna Twinney discovered through her over twenty years of Natural Horsemanship training and field research, that the language of the horse is so much more.  Here is where real horse partnerships are created through communication, connection and collaboration. And it all starts with learning the true language of the horse - body language, energy and telepathy.

Our methodologies are more than training. They are instead transformative, encompassing the whole horse (and human) as a way of being. It’s a place where science meets spirituality and empathy and compassion live at the core.  There is no place in our programs for force, dominance or cookie cutter solutions. It’s about who the horses are and who they want to be. ROTH helps horse, handler and rider find their individual emotional, mental, physical and spiritual balance to create true harmony between them.  We go beyond the traditional meaning of feel, tapping into intuition and intention to influence the desired outcome for the good of the horse, while watching for and catching the whisper to reward them. It’s a place where coping skills are cultivated and responses instead of reactions reign, while working with the horses instead of at them.  Ours are mindful and meaningful methodologies that touch all lives in all disciplines by giving a voice and choice to the horse with proven, effective and permanent results.
